License terms

Version 2 · October 2026

These terms are written in plain language.

Who this is between

CULL is made by Oliver Søgaard-Andersen ("the author"). By installing or using CULL you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use CULL.

What you may do

What you may not do

Free and Pro

CULL Free is free of charge and has every feature, up to 250 frames in one culling session; the exact limit is stated in the app. CULL Pro removes that limit. Prices are stated on the website at the time.

Pro license

Your photographs

CULL never modifies the image data in your RAW files. It writes verdicts to sidecar files next to your photographs, or into the metadata block of a DNG, so that Lightroom and other applications can read them. You remain the only owner of your photographs and of every file CULL writes.

Updates

CULL checks for updates when it starts and offers to install them. Installing an update is your choice. Updated versions are covered by these terms or by newer ones. The current terms are in About, and what's new says when they change.

No warranty

CULL is provided "as is". The author does not promise that it is free of defects or that it fits a particular purpose. Verdicts are what you decide, written to metadata; Smart culling suggestions are advisory only; you decide what to keep and what to delete, and you should keep backups of your photographs as you would with any other tool.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, the author is not liable for any loss of data, profit or business, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from the use of CULL. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for CULL in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using CULL at any time by uninstalling it. The author may end this license if you break these terms; the sections on your photographs, no warranty and limit of liability continue after that.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Denmark. Disputes are heard by the courts of Denmark, unless the law of your country gives you a right to be heard elsewhere.
